Jim Clemmer is founder and president of The CLEMMER Group, a fast-growing strategic consulting firm, providing customized
performance assessments, improvement and
implementation planning, action-based
learning workshops, and executive
development that accelerates organization
transformation. Jim is a bestselling author,
workshop/retreat leader, and keynote speaker on organization
improvement, leadership development, and personal
effectiveness. In addition to his many radio and television
interviews, Jim has written dozens of magazine, journal,
newsletter, and newspaper articles and columns on these
topics. He has delivered nearly two thousand customized
keynote presentations, workshops, and retreats, as well as
consulted to and coached executive teams in hundreds of major
organizations. Jim has delivered executive development
programs at York University, University of Western Ontario, The
Conference Board of Canada, and The Banff Centre for
Management, among many others.
Jim writes and speaks from practical "hands-on" experience.
Practicing the improvement and effectiveness principles he
teaches, Jim co-founded The Achieve Group and its organization
improvement consulting arm, Achieve International. Both were
purchased by Times Mirror and merged with Zenger Miller,
Learning International, and Kaset, to form Achieve Global. Prior
to developing Achieve, Jim established a very successful
performance record with an international water treatment
company. Starting in sales, he quickly became sales manager,
trainer, and the company's youngest general manager.
Jim lives in Kitchener, Ontario with his wife, Heather, and their
three children, Christopher, Jennifer, and Vanessa. He is listed in
