Jerry grew up in central Ohio and attended The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!) for two years before joining the Navy, for a dose of self discipline. After six years in the Navy, including two tours in Europe, he returned to civilian life and finished his bachelor's in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Jerry graduated from the University of Baltimore, School of Law where he concentrated on Business Law.
